Newsletter n° 1 february 2016 | www.armand-petersen.fr
This is a premiere ! It is the first time that the “little dromedary” is edited, never casted during sculptor’s life. It is the number 1/8 and this is the ROSINI art foundry in Paris (www.fonderierosini.com), choisie pour la qualité de ses bronzes qui l'a réalisé. We would like to thank Mr. Rosini, his daughter Marion and whole team for their work.
Decked of the “little” adjective, this dromedary is not. He is 34 cm high and 27 cm long.
This baby dromedary is like youngs animals of which the artist is fond of and has made his specialty. He is standing proudly on his streched legs with no intention to walk. The head is humorous wih parted lips. This dromadery lies in the same vein than the “Lama”, successful artwork in 1938, but less stylish. It has been fully executed in Nogent before 1959.
One little thing remains, find him a happy owner ...
